WHEN WE FALL,WHAT NEXT

Emotions are a very strong part of we humans, some of us might be masters at controlling our actions, but we often find it difficult controlling our emotions. It is only human to feel sad or depressed when we fail or fall in our quest to achieve success. But our greatest problems begin when we refuse to rise up from our crash spot.

Many people after failure, like to hang the cross of the victimised on their necks and they often sought after pity and compassion from people around them. Some use the defence mechanism of blaming those around them for their failure, others just look for ways to run away from their failure;often denying it, even taking it to the level of creating fictional thoughts to psyche themselves. Well, i don't totally blame them because without expressing ourselves with words, we individuals have a way of making failure look like a sin by exhibiting disgust in our actions. Personally, i've been abused by failure- now i don't solely mean in terms of failing major exams, i've failed at some businesses i tried to invest in, i've failed at doing the right thing at the right time, i've failed to be a better person to my friends, i've failed to give my best shot in times of trials, i've failed to think big, i've failed in my search for love and even when i found love, i failed to make it last, sometimes i fail to appreciate loved ones.

A friend of mine attempted suicide once he felt failure had taken a stronghold on him and his life was going south. Sometimes people fail due to circumstances beyond their control. So what do we do when we fail, i say we reflect upon our mistakes, take to note that failing itself is not a disease it is when we fail to rise to the occasion by taking the right steps to correct our blunders that it becomes pathologic. Like a popular naija saying goes "man wey dey ground dey fear fall?" meaning "can a man already on the ground be scared of falling?" so why make the ground look like your only option when you can rise up to succeed. I suggest we borrow a strand of resilience from the agama lizard whom when it falls from an iroko tree praises itself and goes back to climb the tree. Thomas Edison finally figured out how to make the electric bulb after 999 attempts, when asked about how he felt while he was failing, he said he learnt 998 ways not to make a bulb. An old saying goes "failure is the mother of success". I would say, successful men today who were good at failing, changed their story by using failure as a catalyst to propagate success thereby making them fail to fail. When we fall, what next, we must stand up.

plane splits into three

One passenger was killed when an airplane crashed in bad weather and broke apart while attempting to land early Monday on the island of San Andres,
Colombia, officials said. National police said 124 people were injured, many of them scattered on the darkened runway when emergency personnel arrived
in the predawn hours. Six people, including an 18-month-old boy, were not injured, the national police said. Some of the patients are in critical condition,
said Robert Sanchez, director of Hospital Amor de Patria.A list released by the Aires airline says 124 people were treated at two local hospitals. Four patients
at Amor de Patria required surgery and another person at the hospital was in "reserved" condition, the airline said. Amor de Patria treated 101 victims while 23
were tended to at Clinica Villareal. An 11-year-old girl suffered severe head and face trauma, Sanchez told CNN en Español. Doctors also were having difficulty
controlling internal bleeding in a man with pelvic injuries, the hospital director said.
The most seriously injured were being transported aboard an air ambulance to Bogota, the nation's capital, Sanchez said.
There were 131 people -- 121 adult passengers, four minors and six crew members -- aboard the Boeing 737-700 jet when it crashed around 1:49 a.m,
national police said.
Police identified the passenger killed as Amar Fernandez de Barreto. The passenger manifest, which goes by last name first, lists a Barreto Fernandez Paola Andrea.
There was conflicting information about what caused the crash. The report from the national police said a downdraft may have shaken the airplane just as
it prepared to land. But Pedro Gallardo, the governor of San Andres y Providencia state, told en Español that lightning hit the plane. The pilot also reported
a lightning strike, El Tiempo newspaper said.

Av got lots of forwarded jokes on my bb so I have decided to share some with you all, hope you enjoy them:

(1)
Teacher: why did u laugh?
Boy: I saw 1 strap of ur bra.
Teacher: GET OUT of the classroom for 1 week....
2nd boy laughed.
Teacher: why did u laugh?
Boy 2: I saw both straps.
Teacher: GET OUT FOR 1 MONTH.
Then the teacher bent down 2 pick up a piece of chalk,………..Little Johny started walking out.
Teacher: Johny, why are you going out?
Little Johny : Judging from what I just saw, I think my school days are over!

(2)
A mother had 3 virgin daughters, they were all getting married within a short time period....because Mom was a bit worried about how their sex life would get started, she made them all promise to send a postcard from the honeymoon with a few words on how marital sex felt.

The first girl sent a card from Hawaii two days after the wedding. The card said nothing but: "Nescafe"! Mom was puzzled at first, but then went to her kitchen and got out the Nescafe jar...It said: "Good till the last drop". Mom blushed, but was pleased for her daughter.

The second girl sent the card from Vermont a week after the wedding, and the card read: "Rothmans"   Mom went straight to her husband's cigarettes, and she read from the pack: "Extra Long. King Size"...she was again slightly embarrassed but still happy for her daughter.

The third girl left for her honeymoon in Cape Town. Mom waited for a week, nothing. Another week went by and still nothing. Then after a whole month,a card finally arrived.   Written on it with shaky handwriting were the words "South African Airways"...Mom took out her latest YOU magazine, flipped through the pages fearing the worst, and finally found the advert for SAA. The ad said: "Ten times a day, seven days a week, both ways."...Mom fainted !!!

Becky was on her deathbed with her husband, John, maintaining a steady vigil by her side. As he held her fragile hand, his warm tears ran silently down his face, splashed onto her face, and roused her from her slumber. She looked up and her pale lips began to move slightly. "My darling John," she whispered.

"Hush, my love," he said. "Go back to sleep. Shhh. Don't talk."

But she was insistent. "John," she said in her tired voice. "I have to talk. I have something I must confess to you."

"There's nothing to confess," replied the weeping John. "It's all right.

Everything's all right, go to sleep now."

"No, no. I must die in peace, John. I slept with your brother, your best friend and your father."

John mustered a pained smile and stroked her hand. "Hush now Becky, don't torment yourself. I know all about it." he said, "Why do you think I poisoned you?"

Saudi unveils world's largest clock

A giant clock on a skyscraper in Islam's holiest city Mecca began ticking on Wednesday at the start of the fasting month of Ramadan, amid hopes by Saudi Arabia it will become the Muslim world's official timekeeper.

The Mecca Clock, which Riyadh says is the world's largest, has four faces measuring 43 metres in diameter.

It sits 400 metres up what will be the world's second-tallest skyscraper and largest hotel, overlooking the city's Holy Grand Mosque, which Muslims around the world turn to five times a day for prayer.

Birdman buys $2.1m Bugatti

Southern rapper Birdman is showing off the kind of toy a few million dollars can buy 'the Bugatti Veyron'.
The European sports car is not only one of the most expensive things you can buy on four wheels, but it's also the fastest street car on the planet.

Birdman, who goes by his real name, Bryan Williams, when he's doing business as the CEO of Cash Money Records, is making sure everyone knows about his $2.1 million mode of transportation, too. The Dirty South rapper and his crew snapped some shots of the all-red sports car while holding a business card that reads "I am expensive," a statement which would be pretty hard to argue with, given the car's estimated $300,000 annual upkeep costs.

The Bugatti Veyron has an average top speed of 267 miles per hour according to the Guinness Book of World Records. That's faster than a Formula One car... not to mention about one-third of the speed of sound!.

Congrats to him but wait IS THAT NOT =N=315m....??...God have mercy.
