In a recent interview with Star Magazine Cannon says, "Mariah is not pregnant. The timing has to be right. But I can't wait to be a dad!"
The rumor heated up this May after Carey and Cannon were seen walking out of a building that houses a fertility clinic. In addition, Carey has openly admitted that she is interested in becoming a mother. Media outlets have also taken note that Carey seems to have gained a noticeable amount of weight recently.
Cannon also spoke out in defense of Mariah on a recent episode of America's Got Talent. Judge Piers Morgan couldn't resist jabbing Cannon after 75-year-old contestant Sally Cohn whistled a version of Mariah's song "Hero."
"I was going to say, that's THE best rendition of the song I've heard," Morgan said jokingly. "Much more in tune than I'm used to hearing from a certain performer."
Cannon was quick to respond saying: "She's going to kick your a*s."
